Nats make first round of roster cuts
The Washington Nationals made their first round of roster cuts after their 7-6 win over the Cardinals today. Here are those that were cut:
P Bill Bray. Bray was cut and will report to the minor league camp. Bray was signed in the off-season and was thought to be a potential lefty to join Zach Duke in the Nationals bullpen. Bray appeared in two Grapefruit League games...
Bray, Valdez choose free agency
At long last, the Reds have washed their hands of The Trade. The last remaining component, Bill Bray, was outrighted yesterday and chose free agency rather than being non-tendered later.
As you may recall, Bray was supposed to be the bright spot in a deal that sent right-fielder Austin Kearns and shortstop Felipe Lopez to the Washington Nationals in 2006. In addition to Bray, the...

Reds activate LH reliever Bray for Twins series
The Reds activated Bill Bray off the disabled list before the start of a series against the Minnesota Twins, giving Cincinnati three left-handed relievers.

Yet another Reds reliever has been bitten by the injury bug as the team placed LHP Bill Bray (groin) on the 15-day DL on Wednesday. He joins fellow relief pitchers Nick Masset (shoulder) and Ryan Madson (shoulder) on the list of ailing arms from the 'pen.
The 28-year old Bray has been clearly bothered by the condition all spring...
Bray goes on DL; Hoover to make debut
Looks like there might be a good reason that LHP Bill Bray has been less-than-awesome so far this season, and it’s not that lingering curse from having been part of The Trade. The Reds have just put Bray on the 15-day DL retroactive to last Thursday with a left groin strain that’s … [visit site to read more]

Uh, that's when he is healthy. And...
