Legendary Soviet weightlifter Vasily Alekseyev reportedly has died at the age of 69. Alekseyev won two Olympic and eight world super heavyweight titles in the 1970s. Considered the "World's Strongest Man," Alekseyev was featured prominently in the TV show Wide World of Sports. You can see him in the show's intro around the :20 mark:
