I don't see how Megan Rapinoe is suddenly not a role model simply because she came out. I applaud her for that, she gives hope to other soccer players that it is okay to come out and play the beautiful game. Let them enjoy the fact that they won the gold medal. If you look at pictures and watched the celebration after, maybe you would have seen many of the US players, such as Abby Wambach and Hope Solo go over and give the Japan players hugs. Bolt is wrong, and was called out on it by the US gold and silver decathlon winners last night. He is the fastest man competing now but they are the best in a variety of endeavors, better athletes. He was rightfully celebrating but lacked class in his over the top declaration, as did the USA womens soccer team.

Interestingly enough, although he is the greatest, Bolt, like our ladies soccer team, showed a sadly diminished amount of class. It's too bad, after such a great win.
