US relay runner finishes race with a broken leg

Jamaica's Usain Bolt might think he's the hottest thing since butter first went on toast, but I'd like to see him finish a race like this US relay runner.
Manteo Mitchell ran in the 1,600-meter relay earlier this morning in the starting position. Unfortunately, he lost the lead rather quickly but that's because Mitchell was running with a broken leg, according to The Los Angeles Times.
Mitchell blamed his disappointing 46.1 seconds on a strange foot cramp. So Mitchell got an X-ray from a doctor at the Olympic Village and it revealed a fractured fibula.
Apparently, he had a little accident on a set of stairs a few days before the race, but the fracture didn't show up until after the race. In fact, he said he did not feel any pain or discomfort until today.
Fortunately, his team was able to rally the lost lead and tied with the Bahamas for the qualifying round. They also both earned a record for the fastest qualifying time.
I would love it if Bolt's big mouth got him into the relay race against this guy. Just imagine the amount of crow he would have to eat after losing to a guy who just suffered a broken fibula. He would have to spend quite some time in the gym to work it off, even though crow is quite low in calories.
