Ryan Lochte wears flashy shoes to the pool (Photos)
Ryan Lochte is into fashion and is a self-proclaimed shoe collector. When he steps onto the deck before a swim, he likes to make a statement with his clothes. And as you can tell by his winged shoes seen above, he frequently succeeds with his mission.
"Ho, I think I have about, a total of 130 pairs of shoes,” Lochte told The New York Times. “So you can say I like shoes.”
Lochte is disappointed that he has to stick to the Team USA uniform at the Olympics, but he told the Times he would try to accessorize with bracelets and diamond grillz.
He also told The New York Times he wants to be a clothing designer.
“I want to be different, and fashion gives me that outlet to do that," said Lochte.
The winged shoes are a little too flashy and clunky for me to wear, but I like the way they look. If he has more ideas like that, he might be able to have a successful career in fashion after he's done swimming.

Love the retro Reebok pumps. Something tells me Lochte and USA Basketball's Russell Westbrook would get along quite well.

In bad tast and quite trashy looking. If he thinks he has a sense of style then he should look at what it really means to have taste and style. Because he does not. He looks like a jerk and makes the american team look bad he should be banned from wearing this crap. The shoes, the grill everything. And I will not purchase any product from any company using him as an indorser. This guy really needs to grow up. His stupidity is outshining his ability.
