NBC's harshest critic has Twitter account reinstated

Guy Adams had his Twitter account reinstated after it was suspended following a series of scathing tweets aimed at NBC's coverage of the Olympics. Adams is a Los Angeles-based journalist who writes for The Independent, a London newspaper.
Twitter told Adams that he was suspended for posting a private email address, but that wasn't actually the case, as he tweeted out the public, corporate email address of Gary Zenkel the NBC executive in charge of the company's Olympics coverage.
The whole thing seemed fishy to some because Twitter and NBC are partnering during the London Games.
Twitter sent Adams a notification that claimed the original complaint against him - which had been filed by NBC - had been retracted, and that is why his account is now operational again.
Deadspin connected the dots on this pretty quickly and made a pretty convincing case that Adams' account was suspended simply because he was eviscerating NBC's coverage of the London Games repeatedly with his tweets.
It looks like Adams will now be tweeting throughout the remainder of the games and you can follow him by following this link.
