There are hundreds of amazing images in London during the 17 days of the Olympics. From the agony and ecstasy of the athletes, to the amazing architecture around every corner and the colorful fans and their outfits around Olympic Park, photography buffs are in heaven.

Friday night saw another opportunity to polish the lenses and break out new memory sticks. Residents and visitors alike were treated to a never-before-seen sight after the sun went down: A full moon as the sixth ring of the Olympic logo that hangs from Tower Bridge.
