Misty May-Treanor breaks out funky dance after winning gold medal
There's something about winning a gold medal that makes some women want to dance. First it was Serena Williams breaking out her gangster walk after winning the women's singles title at the London Games, and then it was Misty May-Treanor doing some bizarre jig after winning the gold in beach volleyball on Wednesday.
I couldn't tell you exactly what the three-time gold medal winner was doing there, but it appears to be some odd version of the running man on sand.
May-Treanor was clearly stoked to win her third gold medal with partner Kerri Walsh Jennings and extend their winning streak to 21 straight matches at the Olympics.
Hey, when you're winning Olympic gold medals at age 35, there's nothing wrong with getting crazy with your celebration. She can dance however she wants.

While I am happy for the beach volleyball girls and agree with the statement :
"Hey, when you're winning Olympic gold medals at age 35, there's nothing wrong with getting crazy with your celebration. She can dance however she wants"
that does not cover the fact that MMT's dance was refrerred to as one thing and Serena WIlliams' dance was referred to something else.
I happen to think that Serena deserves to dance however she wants, whenever she wants for constantly delivering despite being snubbed time after time and she does not deserve that dance to be called a "gansta walk" while others can get away with a "jig"
Shame on you media for not being a positive outlet for all of our athletes. Lets try to get it right next time.

Why aren't we screaming for unsportsman like conduct! Gangstas do the running man too and they were celebrating too much. Embrassing! Oh, sorry it was a jig so it was not really dancing 'cause us white girls can't dance and we are more deserving of the all the gold medals. Seeing the racism yet? When it was Serena she was a 'hood chick' and ghetto but now it's one of 'us' so it's celebrating.
