LeBron James does Pilates to prepare for game (Photo)
There’s still a stigma that Pilates are just for women, but LeBron James is trying to prove otherwise. The NBA MVP shared a picture on Instagram and Twitter on Thursday of himself doing some Pilates to prepare for Team USA’s Group A game against Nigeria later in the day.
LeBron was using a Pilates machine and appeared to have an instructor assisting him. Based on the picture, it looks like he was training in a mostly female environment. Maybe this is LeBron’s way of meeting women after striking out with US swimmer Lauren Perdue. I kid, I kid.
Between LeBron doing Pilates and Coach K doing yoga, it looks like Team USA is open to all sorts of training methods.

Wow US beat the you what out of Nigeria, I think it's time the Olympic commitee ban pro's from competting. THese are top notch trained all year round millioners.
Every win is expeced, and it's starting to get very boring. I alway's thought all events where Amatures only, let's return ton square one. -
The US hasn't always won. It doesn't matter how much money they make. There are many other athletes that have to potential to win. You can't give medals to everyone.

The reason the US starting allowing pro B Ball player is that the former Soviet Union, and Eastern bloc countries among others had what amounted to pros playing for them. They had no job but to play basketball and the same players played and practiced together for years.
We on the other hand used young players who did not have the advantage of playing or practicing together for years.
Now there are many NBA players in the olympics for many countries not just the US.
