A look inside the Olympics basketball court (Video)
Great Britain is holding a basketball test event this week inside the Olympic Park in London. The venue is a 12,000 seat arena that ... wait for it ... is temporary. It cost 42 million pounds to construct and will be up for bids after the Summer Games. Take a look inside the arena that will host all the Olympics basketball action next summer:
France beat Britain in the test tournament Tuesday while Australia beat China. They reportedly sold out all 3,000 available tickets for the event.
So yeah, that's the court and arena where they'll be playing next summer. And get used to it -- the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro could be interested in purchasing the venue.
